Treatments at the Dental Hygienist
Dental Cleaning & Tartar Removal
During a dental cleaning, tartar, plaque, and buildup are carefully removed above and, if necessary, below the gumline. This helps prevent gum inflammation and contributes to long-term oral health.
Gum Treatment (Periodontitis)
In cases of inflamed gums or periodontitis, I create a treatment plan tailored to your specific situation. Through targeted cleaning and guidance, further damage to teeth and molars can be prevented.
Preventive Dental Care & Oral Hygiene Instruction
Good oral care starts with prevention. I provide clear instructions and personalized advice on brushing, interdental brushes, and flossing, so you can actively contribute to maintaining a healthy mouth.
Aftercare for Implants, Crowns, and Bridges
Implants, crowns, and bridges require extra care. With professional aftercare and regular cleaning, I help prevent inflammation and extend the lifespan of these restorations.
Dental Care for Children (up to 18 years)
For children and teenagers, I provide preventive and child-friendly dental care. Treatments by a dental hygienist are fully covered by basic health insurance up to the age of 18.
Polishing & Stain Removal
During polishing, surface stains caused by coffee, tea, or smoking are removed. This leaves your teeth feeling fresh and clean, with a well-cared-for appearance.
Woodpecker PT-B GBT Biofilm Therapy
Using the latest Woodpecker PT-B GBT equipment, we remove biofilm and dental plaque in a gentle and effective way. Air polishing ensures a painless treatment and thorough cleaning. This provides a fresh feeling and contributes to a healthy, radiant smile.

FEES & REIMBURSEMENTS
Transparent and in accordance
with national guidelines
The Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa) sets the maximum fees for dental care each year. These rates are the same for all dental hygienists in the Netherlands.
The costs of treatment are fully or partially reimbursed through supplementary dental insurance. You do not need a referral from a dentist. Please check with your health insurer to find out which reimbursements apply to you.
After the treatment, you will receive the invoice and can pay it immediately, preferably by debit card. This ensures you always know exactly where you stand.
